| Maria Mounsey graduated from Nottingham Trent University in 1992 with a BA (Hons) in Interior Design. She worked for a various design groups over the years on both commercial and large scale residential projects in the UK, Middle and Far East. | Rachael Curley graduated from Sunderland University in 1991 with a Honours Degree. She then pursued a sales career working for international brands such as Swatch and Gul International. As UK Retail Sales Manager she was also responsible for product design and marketing. |
In 2007 Rachael and Maria decided to combine their design, sales and project management skills and form 'Silk House Design Ltd'. A company which specializes in taking a design project from drawing board to completion. | |
